Demo & Used Kayaks

These are boats from our own demo and teaching fleet, sold at 15% off the new price. Every one is a current-model Valley composite kayak that has been paddled, cared for and maintained by us — the same hulls our coaches use and our customers try before they buy.

Expect light cosmetic wear: scratches on the keel and hull from beach landings, some scuffing around the cockpit and deck lines. Nothing structural. Hatches, skegs, seats and deck fittings are checked and working before any boat leaves us, and we'll tell you honestly what condition a specific hull is in before you commit.

One of each. When a boat is gone, it's gone — there's no reordering a used hull.

Buying a Demo Boat

Demo boats are the cheapest way into a Valley hull, and the only way to buy one you can paddle before you pay. We strongly recommend arranging a demo paddle in the exact boat — contact us to book one at our Hamilton location or at an upcoming clinic.

Terms of Sale

— Demo and used boats are sold as seen, one of each, in the condition described at the time of enquiry.

— Prices exclude HST.

— Collection from our Hamilton facility. Delivery within Canada is available and quoted separately on request.

— Kayak Ontario will hold a sold boat at no charge for 14 days from the date of sale. After that, a storage fee of $50 per kayak per month applies.

— Manufacturer warranty does not transfer on demo and used boats. See our refund policy for full terms.
