How to Take a Bearing from a Chart
1. Position the Compass
Drag the compass so its edge lies along your intended course between two points.
2. Rotate to Your Course
Drag the rotation handle (↻) to rotate the whole compass until the travel arrow points toward your destination.
3. Rotate the Bezel
Drag the outer ring until the red orienting lines are parallel with the chart's North-South lines.
4. Read Your Bearing
The number at the index line (▼) is your True bearing. Add 9° for Magnetic in Georgian Bay.
